In April of this year I invited, UK based artist, Andrew Heath, to come to Sollia to spent a week in our remote cabin on the edge of the Rondane National Park in Norway. In this beautiful and quiet place we found the perfect backdrop to create music that immediately became anchored in the liminal landscape. The music flowed easily and sounds exactly like the vast, frozen, endless, open world that lay outside their little improvised studio. Time quickly ceased to exist as days merged - the work directly influenced by their beautiful surroundings.

Upon his return to the UK, Andrew set to work editing the material they had created into four succinct pieces that seemed to have been lifted directly from maps of the wilderness there and bought to life. Presented here as Sollia. The track titles reflecting the time of day and names of places visited during their time there - Blåtime, Sollia, Muen and Atnsjøen.
